Objectives

1. To develop participants' understanding of the organisational issues that may be faced by a newly-established NGO as it tries to respond to the demands for HIV/AIDS interventions.

2. To identify and evaluate the strategies that can be used to maintain organisational effectiveness.

3. To examine the implications of relying on external funding for programme sustainability and to identify strategies which an NGO can use to develop support from local sources.
