Annex 1 - Sample Lesson Plan for Luganda Learners

Omuwendo gw’abasomi: 25.

   

Erinnya ly’ekibiina: Nassuti Adult Learners’ Group.

Essaawa: 10 - 12 ez’olweggulo.

Essomo Ery’okutaano: ENSIRI MBI.

Ebigendererwa: Ku nkomerero y’essomo, abayizi bajja kuba nga basobola:

 

1) Okumenya ebifo ebisukka mu bisatu ensiri mwe zizaalira;

2) Okusoma n’okuwandiika ebigambo ebirina ennukuta essatu mu nnyingo emu (nga: “nsi”, “mbi”, “mbu”,...), n’okubyongerako ennyingo endala okukola ebigambo ne sentensi ez’amakulu.

3) Okubala n’okuwandiika ensimbi omulwadde w’omusujja oguleetebwa ensiri (Malaria) zayinza okukozesa alyoke awone.

Ebinaakozesebwa mu ssomo lino:

 

- Ekifaananyi ekiriko ensiri nga ziruma omuntu.
- Akatabo akasooka ak’abayizi (Primer).
- Akatabo akalungamya omusomesa (Teacher’s Guide).
- Akaguwa okusiba ekitaananyi ku muti.
- Bu kaadi okunawandiikibwa ennyingo z’ebigambo (syllable cards).
- Ebikalaamu ebinene (Markers).
- Olubaawo n’ennoni.

Abasomi beetegereza ekifaananyi era bakubaganya ebirowoozo okusinziira ku musomesa by’abuuza.

Okulaga engeri y’ekigambo “ensiri mbi” gye kisomebwamu ng’abasomi basabibwa okubikkula ebitabo byabwe (primer).

Okumenyaamenya ekigambo ki nnakizaalizi (generative sentence) mu nnyingo ze kirina (syllables) ng’okozesa kaadi.

Abasomi okwetegereza obulungi n’oluvannyuma okugezaako okukola kino.

Okulaga ennyingo ez’ennukuta essatu eziri mu kigambo nnakizaalizi (“nsi” ne “mbi”) n’ebirala ebizifaanana (syllable families): nsa, nso, mbu, etc. Okukolamu ekigambo ekipya era n’okusaba abasomi babeere babiri babiri (pairs) bakole ebigambo ebipya ebirala.

Abasomi babeere babiri babiri (pairs) era bakole ebigambo ebipya ebiva mu nnyingo omusomesa z’alaze.

Okusaba buli musomi awandiikeyo ka “sentensi” akalimu amakulu ng’akozesa ebigambo ebipya bye tulabye. Omusomesa ayitayita mu basomi ng’abayambako.
