iv) Percentage of prescribed drugs on EDLU in public health facilities

• The median percentage of drugs prescribed that were on the Essential Drugs List of Uganda (EDLU) in public health facilities was 93.5%, which is similar to a previous survey in 1993 ¹¹ where an average of 97.5% of prescribing was found to be according to the EDLU

• Over 80% of prescribing at 3 out of 4 facilities was found to be according to the EDLU
