Chronic Bronchitis (infective exacerbation)	*Doxycycline (O)* 200 mg stat 100 mg daily OR	5 to 7 days

Acute Bronchitis	Antibiotics not usually needed; if required, treat as above
Bronchiectasis	Physiotherapy and postural drainage, antibiotic as for chronic bronchitis
Lung Abscess or Aspiration Pneumonia	Postural drainage

	*Benzylpenicillin (IV)* 2.5-5 MU every 6 hours with or without	4 to 6 week
	*Metronidazole (O)* 400-500 mg three times per day
