MAGNESIUM SULFATE

PRÉSENTATION

Ampoule de 10 ml dosé à 150 mg/ml pour IV lente ou perfusion veineuse.

ACTION THERAPEUTIQUE

Oligoélément

INDICATION

• Carences magnésiennes
• Tétanie constitutionnelle ou spasmophilie
• Eclampsie.


CONTRE-INDICATION, EFFETS SECONDAIRES, PRÉCAUTIONS

Contre-indications:

• Insuffisance rénale sévère.


Effets secondaires:

• Douleurs au point d'injection, vasodilatation avec sensation de chaleur

• Hypermagnésémie potentiellement létale en cas d'insuffisance rénale sévère ou d'injection veineuse trop rapide.


Précautions:

• Il est recommandé de ne pas administrer en même temps calcium et magnésium par voie parentérale.
• Pratiquer l'injection IV sur malade allongé, tête légèrement surélevée.


POSOLOGIE

Chez l'adulte: 150 à 200 mg à modifier selon les besoins.

DURÉE

Le traitement sera interrompu dès que la magnésémie sera normalisée.
