PRALIDOXIME

PRÉSENTATION

Flacon de 10 ml dosé à 20 mg/ml pour injection IM, SC ou IV.

ACTION THERAPEUTIQUE

Antidote spécifique des organophosphorés.

INDICATION

Intoxication par les dérivés organophosphorés (insecticides) en association avec l'atropine.

CONTRE-INDICATION, EFFETS SECONDAIRES, PRÉCAUTIONS

Effets secondaires:

• Troubles visuel: diplopie, vision floue
• Malaise, vertiges, céphalées et tachycardie.


Précautions:

• La pralidoxime est d'autant plus efficace qu'elle est administrée peu de temps après l'intoxication

POSOLOGIE

• La première injection est de 200 à 400 mg (soit 1 à 2 flacons) de pralidoxime.

• La deuxième injection est effectuée une demi-heure plus tard: 200 mg de pralidoxime (soit un flacon).

• Les injections ultérieure de 200 mg chacunes sont pratiquées toutes les 4 à 6 heures.

• On associe habituellement l'atropine à la pralidoxime.
