Nigeria: Country Profile

Nigeria, located on the West Coast of Africa, has a landmass of 923,678 square kilometres and a population density of 128 per square kilometre. The country is divided into six geo-political zones, 36 States and a Federal Capital Territory. The states are further divided into 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
