Clinical features: This is failure to conceive after one year of regular coitus without contraception. It is classified as primary when there has never been a history of pregnancy or it is secondary when inability to conceive after one or more pregnancies have occurred.

Treatment in all cases depends upon correction of the underlying disorder(s) suspected of causing infertility whether primary or secondary.
