Isosorbide dinitrate (O) 30-120 mg/day in 2 divided doses. If no response, |

Propranolol (O) 40-80 mg three times a day |

Atenolol (O) 50-100 mg once daily. |
Atenolol is preferred for diabetics and asthmatics. If there is no response to the combination of nitrates and beta blockers try:
Nifedipine (O) 10-20 mg three times a day (it may replace or be cautiously combined with beta-blockers).
NOTE If pain continues inspite of above treatment: refer for farther investigation and treatment. |
